Mini Beasts

The Mini-beast 'Cave' is situated directly behind the Butterfly House and access is via the Palm House exit - only one ticket is needed for your Williamson Park Safari! Full of lizards, snakes, spiders and other creepy-crawlies the 'Cave' gives a fascinating view of creatures that you may otherwise not want to meet.

Animal Garden

Rabbits and guinea pigs live alongside more exotic neighbours including a family of fancy rats!. All are housed in an attractive garden area and are particularly popular with younger children.

Free-flying Birds

After visiting the mini-beasts you enter the free-flying foreign bird enclosure. Wherever you turn you can see exotic species flying, feeding and nesting amongst a natural environment. Parakeets, finches, cockateels, various species of doves and many more of these charming creatures are quite at home with their human visitors. In the interests of the birds' welfare we ask visitors not to feed them or make sudden movements or shout.
